Patients with severe allergy to eggs, reaction to previous flu vaccine, age less than 6 months or a rare Guillain-Barré disease should not get a Flu vaccine. You should also wait for an illness with fever to recover before getting a flu vaccine.
Flu virus is contagious. Flu vaccine is the best form of protection for both you and your family.
